Services for Industry
Collaboration with industry is at the core of the business development at VCHRI. VCHRI facilitates collaboration with researchers and clinician-scientists on industrial applications, agreements or awards; and can assist with:
- facilitating introductions between industry partners and VCHRI researchers
- finding the appropriate expertise within the VCHRI portfolio
- exploring collaboration opportunities and building successful partnerships
Innovation
VCHRI has a broad intellectual property portfolio based on research discoveries in prostate cancer, brain health, cardiovascular health, lung health, bone and joint health, spinal cord injury, immunity and infection, ovarian cancer, medical devices, substance use preventive health, and chronic diseases management. VCHRI Business Development Unit works with the UBC Industry Liaison Office to identify and protect joint intellectual property.
