The Emergency Medicine Research Program examines innovative ways for health care professionals to provide high quality, cutting-edge acute care and treatment to patients in the event of a trauma or emergency department visit.
Investigators examine a variety of conditions such as cardiac arrest, falls, motor vehicle accidents, traumatic brain injury, cardiac arrhythmias, syncope and substance misuse, as well as the development of innovative techniques for imaging and preventing adverse drug events and for using point of care ultrasound.
