The Centre for Clinical Epidemiology and Evaluation (C2E2) provides evidence-based advice to support and advance a sustainable health care system that delivers safe, high quality care through multidisciplinary research and training. Researchers develop research methodology and provide statistical expertise for health care policy makers to advance knowledge and guide changes to policies and practices, as well as guidance on maintaining well trained health care practitioners, providers and researchers.
The Centre provides expert consultation and project support for Vancouver Coastal Health, other health authorities, governments and non-profit health care agencies in the areas of biostatistics, health economics, health technology assessment, evidence synthesis, qualitative and mixed-methods research, policy analysis and patient-oriented outcomes. The Centre also engages and works collaboratively with clinicians and researchers in grant application development and on funded research projects.
