The Vancouver Coastal Health Research Institute (VCHRI) Research Facilitation team offers support and guidance to research teams throughout the research process, providing one-on-one support to assist health care professionals with:
- Developing practice-based research questions and designing research projects
- Putting together applications for the Research Ethics Board and Operational Approval
- Finding and applying for funding opportunities
- Forming research collaborations, teams and programs both within Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) and with external partners
- Building research capacity for community health research
- Executing knowledge translation activities
- Integrating research and evaluation into new and existing clinical programs
- Connecting students and volunteers with VCH research projects
- Facilitating implementation of research into practice, and its spread and scale to drive improvement in long-term care (as part of the Long-Term Care Quality Initiative at BC AHSN)

- Research Methods Webinar Series are designed to support health care providers to develop a clinical research proposal (e.g., framing a research question, selecting a study design, aligning research methodology).
