Join C2E2 for a spotlight session featuring Dr. Aline Talhouk.
Dr. Talhouk will focus on a multi-phase, fully remote approach to identifying people at increased risk for endometrial cancer and connecting them to risk-reducing interventions. This approach leverages a risk assessment model and the Progesterone Challenge Test to identify individuals who may require further evaluation. She will also explain the next phase of this research, aimed to assess the effectiveness of these approaches in reducing endometrial cancer risk, address barriers to participation, optimize intervention strategies and validate a surrogate marker for endometrial cancer incidence. This session will explore key lessons from recruitment, retention and participant feedback while discussing potential study refinements, including the integration of novel pharmacologic interventions, such as semaglutide inhibitors.
