Three Minute Thesis: VCHRI Heat 2025

Feb 28 2025, 1:30pm – 3:30pm
In-person at Gordon and Leslie Diamond Health Care Centre, Room 9299, 2775 Laurel Street, Vancouver, B.C.
Intended Audience
Graduate students at VCHRI

Join us for the VCHRI Heat of Three Minute Thesis (3MT). 3MT is an academic competition for current graduate students who will have just three minutes to explain the breadth and significance of their research project to a lay audience. This competition offers participants the opportunity to foster effective communication skills and receive constructive feedback on their scientific presentation skills. Winners will move on to the UBC-wide semi-finals in March. For the competition schedule and additional information, visit the UBC 3MT website.

The registration deadline for the VCHRI Heat is Friday, February 14 at 4:00pm (PT).

Registrants are encouraged to sign up for a 20-minute Personal Presentation Feedback Session with 3MT organizers Jacqui Brinkman and colleagues from Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. Registration will become available in late January.
