Biography
Dr. Peirre Guy is a professor and head of the Division of Orthopedic Trauma at the University of British Columbia (UBC). He is also head of the Department of Orthopedics at Vancouver Acute. Dr. Guy has been on active staff at Vancouver General Hospital in orthopedic trauma since 2002. He has been engaged in medical education and in clinical and basic science research at UBC, and in system-level quality improvement in British Columbia.
Dr. Guy completed his MD and residency training in orthopedic surgery at McGill University and orthopedic trauma fellowships at Medizinsche Hochschule Hannover and Humboldt Universitat zu Berlin, Germany and UBC. Following this he completed an MBA at the John Molson School of Business, Concordia University.
