Biography
Robert D. Levy, MD, FRCPC trained in Respiratory Medicine at McGill University in Montreal and was appointed a Research Director at the Meakins-Christie Laboratories. He is currently a Professor of Medicine at the University of British Columbia and previously served as Director of the Respiratory Division at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver. Dr. Levy is the Medical Director of the BC Lung Transplant Program and Associate-director of the Pulmonary Hypertension Program at Vancouver General Hospital. His major research interests are related to physiologic and functional outcomes following lung transplantation and in pulmonary hypertension. He is past-President of the Canadian Thoracic Society.
