Knowledge translation is the art and science of moving evidence into health care policy and practice. The Knowledge Translation Challenge will:
- Support staff who do not have knowledge translation experience
- Help design knowledge translation projects
- Provide access to knowledge translation resources, training mentorship and potential funding
Eligibility
The Knowledge Translation Challenge is designed to support teams of Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH), BC Cancer (BCC), Fraser Health (FH), Northern Health (NH) and Providence Health Care (PHC) clinicians who may not have much knowledge translation expertise but are responsible for moving evidence into practice. There must be a minimum of two people per team. Teams can be inter-professional. All team leaders must be consistently working 0.5 FTE or greater at their organization (full-time, part-time, or casual).
Deadlines
Letter of Intent deadline: Friday, October 17, 2025 at 4:00pm (PT)
Application deadline: Friday, April 10, 2026 at 4:00pm (PT)
Completed Letter of Intent (LOI) and application must be received via the online submission link by the times specified or they will not be accepted.
After LOIs are reviewed, teams accepted will be required to meet with their organization’s KT Challenge Lead to discuss the project between November 10 - 28, 2025. Required virtual workshops are scheduled for the following dates:
- Workshop #1 – December 4, 2025, Time: 9:00 am – 11:00 am
- Workshop #2 – January 29, 2026, Time: 9:00 am – 11:00 am
- Workshop #3 – February 26, 2026, Time: 9:00 am – 11:00 am
