The purpose of the study is to compare once-weekly carfilzomib dosing in combination with dexamethasone to twice-weekly carfilzomib dosing in combination with dexamethasone in subjects with relapsed and refractory multiple myeloma, previously treated with bortezomib and an immunomodulatory agent (IMiD).

RATIONALE: Lymphadenectomy may remove tumor cells that have spread to nearby lymph nodes in patients with invasive bladder cancer. It is not yet known whether extended pelvic lymphadenectomy is more effective than standard pelvic lymphadenectomy during surgery.

PURPOSE: This randomized phase II trial is studying standard pelvic lymphadenectomy to see how well it works compared to extended pelvic lymphadenectomy in treating patients undergoing surgery for invasive bladder cancer.

The purpose of this phase 3, randomized, double-blind, multicenter study is to compare Oral Ixazomib (MLN9708) plus Lenalidomide and Dexamethasone versus Placebo plus Lenalidomide and Dexamethasone in adult patients with relapsed and/or refractory multiple myeloma.

The purpose of this study is to compare the radiographic progression-free survival (rPFS) of JNJ56021927 in combination with abiraterone acetate (AA) plus prednisone or prednisolone (AAP) and AAP in participants with chemotherapy-naive (participants who did not receive any chemotherapy [treatment of cancer using drugs]) metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) (cancer of prostate gland [gland that makes fluid that aids movement of sperm]).

The safety and effectiveness of TheraSphere will be evaluated in patients with unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma in whom treatment with standard-of-care sorafenib is planned. All patients receive the standard-of-care sorafenib with or without the addition of TheraSphere.

The primary purpose of this study is to provide treatment with Nivolumab to subjects with histologically confirmed stage III (unresectable) or stage IV advanced melanoma who have progressed on or after prior treatment with an anti-CTLA4-containing therapy and for subjects with known BRAF mutation, also progressed on or after treatment with a BRAF inhibitor.

QUEST (Quadrivalent HPV Vaccine Evaluation Study) is a Canada-wide study designed to evaluate whether 2 doses of the HPV vaccine are just as effective as 3 doses at preventing Human Papillomavirus (HPV) infection and cervical cancer.

To confirm the efficacy of CPX-351 compared to 7+3 as first line therapy in elderly patients (60-75 yrs) with high risk (secondary) Acute Myeloid Leukemia. The primary efficacy endpoint will be overall survival.

The purpose of this study is to determine if tivantinib (ARQ 197) is effective in treating patients with MET diagnostic-high hepatocellular carcinoma (liver cancer) who have already been treated once with another therapy.

The objective of this study is to determine whether pomalidomide is safe and effective in reversing red blood cell (RBC)-transfusion-dependence in persons with myeloproliferative neoplasm (MPN)-associated myelofibrosis. (Global Study) and to describe the frequency of anemia response to pomalidomide in Chinese participants with MPN-associated myelofibrosis and severe anemia not receiving REC-transfusions (China Extension Study only).

This study will compare the overall survival (OS) between treatment groups of patients treated with vosaroxin and cytarabine versus patients treated with placebo and cytarabine.
